Gabriel Pernalete was born originally in Venezuela. Almost three years ago, he moved to the US and is a student at MDC majoring in Electrical Engineering. He enjoys math, physics and music; he loves playing the guitar! Gabriel is working with Trey Alvey to analyze data for two islands in the Caribbean (Martinique and Guadeloupe) where the tropical storm Dorian passed. He analyzes data that were collected from doppler radars, and will help train a machine learning model to automate the process in a more efficient and accurate way.
