Kenny joined the Ocean Chemistry and Ecosystems Division (OCED) at AOML as a CIMAS-MDC intern working in the Ecosystem Assessment Lab. During his internship Kenny will be processing preserved plankton samples collected as part of the SFER/SEUS MBON projects with an imaging device, and perform classification workflows using EcoTaxa and other tools. Kenny recently received his bachelor's degree in computer science from MDC with a focus on software engineering. He is excited to combine his two passions: programming and environmental conservation!
